CEER Celebrates WAA’ID Graduates and Strengthens Saudi Automotive Talent
CEER, Saudi Arabia’s first automotive company and homegrown electric vehicle brand, celebrated the graduation of its Saudi engineers from the WAA’ID Program under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program.
The ceremony was hosted at the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources in Riyadh, bringing together senior government officials, participating organizations, and industry leaders committed to developing the Kingdom’s future industrial workforce.
The ceremony recognized 69 graduates from the WAA’ID Program, with CEER representing the largest single group through 40 Saudi graduates. Their graduation marks a seamless transition from intensive academic preparation into permanent engineering and technical positions within CEER.
The ceremony highlighted the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources’ active role in building an ecosystem that encourages industrial innovation, advanced manufacturing, and strategic investment in Saudi talent.
The event also featured the signing of a cooperation agreement between CEER and JVIS to expand joint initiatives for recruiting, developing, and empowering Saudi engineers while advancing local content in the automotive industry.

The WAA’ID Program consists of a 12-month intensive curriculum divided into six months of academic preparation at Kettering University in Michigan, USA, followed by six months of hands-on workplace training with leading global Tier 1 automotive suppliers.
This structured pathway supports Saudi Vision 2030 by expanding advanced manufacturing capabilities, fostering a knowledge-based economy, and preparing Saudi professionals to lead future industrial transformation.
